A prefabricated steel-frame room transported in a folded form and opened on site with lifting equipment. For temporary accommodation, project offices and emergency housing where deployment time matters.

A Room That Travels Folded
The folding mechanism keeps the main building sections together in a compact transport form. On site, the roof is lifted, the hinged wall sections unfold, and the unit is fixed and sealed.
The Detachable system uses separate components for assembly. The Flat-Pack system uses pre-assembled roof and floor modules. The folding system opens through its hinged sections.

Transport & unfolding
From Folded Unit to Enclosed Room
Standard loading reference: 6–8 units per 40-foot high-cube shipping container (40HQ). The selected unit, accessories and packaging determine the final loading arrangement.

Standard unit assembly reference: 2–3 workers, approximately 10–30 minutes per unit. This does not represent the complete project schedule. Site preparation, lifting arrangements and selected fittings require separate planning.

Is a folding container house the same as an expandable house?
The folding unit opens from a compact transport form into its room configuration. An expandable house opens additional sections to increase the usable floor area. Review the Expandable Container House range if additional space after opening is the main requirement.
Is lifting equipment required?
The installation sequence includes lifting the roof before unfolding the wall sections. Arrange suitable lifting equipment for the selected unit and site. The short unit-assembly reference does not remove the need to plan site access and lifting.
What does the 10–30 minute reference cover?
It is the standard per-unit assembly reference for a 2–3 person team. It is not a delivery, foundation or complete-building completion time. Confirm the installation scope and selected fittings before planning the project schedule.
How many units fit in a 40HQ container?
The standard loading reference is 6–8 units per 40-foot high-cube container. The final loading arrangement depends on the selected unit, accessories and packaging.
Which wall and window upgrades are available?
The standard specification uses 50 mm rockwool sandwich panels and PVC sliding windows with security mesh. Listed upgrades are 75 mm rockwool panels and double glazing. Confirm the selected combination and included fittings in the quotation.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Provide the project country, intended room use, unit quantity, preferred layout, wall and window requirements, required fittings, destination port and target delivery date. Include drawings and installation-support requirements when available.
